Description
The cistern at the south end of the terrace to the garden front of Somerleyton Hall is a Grade II listed structure, dated 'GM 1602'. It is a rectangular trough made of lead, supported by four lions. The cistern features raised strapwork decoration on three sides. The surrounding park and gardens are included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission County Register of Gardens at Grade II*.
