Description

This is a guidepost located at the junction with Greenland Road, dating from the early 20th century. It is made of cast iron and features both wood and iron indicators. The post is tapered and round, topped with a pyramid finial, and has mouldings both below and above the indicators and at the top. The iron indicator boards point to Lanchester, Langley Park, and Durham, while there is a wooden replacement for the indicators to Quebec and Esh Winning.
