Description
Esh Glebe House is a vicarage built in 1852, now a private house. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings. The building is two storeys high and features three bays, with the third bay being wider. The entrance includes a six-panelled door topped by a Tudor-arched fanlight with radiating glazing bars, all set within a stop-chamfered surround under a label mould. The ground floor has stone-mullioned windows with three lights, while the first floor has two-light windows, both fitted with narrow sashes that include glazing bars. Above the door, there is a gabled dormer containing a single light. The gables are adorned with gablets on kneelers and cross-roll-moulded finials. The left end of the building features ridge and rear chimneys, each with one, two, and three octagonal shafts, complete with plinths and coping. A rear wing runs parallel to the main block and projects to the left.
