Description
No. 30 is a two-storey house with an attic, built with a stucco façade, likely over local rubble stone, and topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring ridge tiles and red brick stacks. The central entrance plan includes an impressive doorcase with fluted pilasters, an open pediment supported by brackets, and a radiating fanlight above a fielded six-panel door. On either side of the entrance are tripartite sash windows, with one over one panes flanking two over two panes. The upper floor has three windows, again tripartite on the sides, with a narrow two over two pane sash in the center. The building is adorned with a moulded timber cornice and a parapet, and the roof features two pedimented dormers with three-light windows and pediments on brackets, along with heightened red brick stacks at each gable. The front of the property is complemented by late 19th-century wrought iron railings with alternating spear and loop designs. The rear elevation was not inspected during the resurvey.
