Description
10 High Street is a two-storey building with a pebble-dashed front elevation, likely covering local rubble stone. It features a machine tile roof with red ridge tiles and red brick stacks. The building has a double depth central entrance plan. The front includes a painted plinth and a mid-19th century shop window with a plate glass window and a moulded cornice. To the left of the shop window is a door flanked by pilasters, and to the right, there is a pebble-dash stall-riser. On the left side, there is a 6 over 6 pane sash window with an exposed case, and above it, there are two smaller sash windows of the same style. The roof has a low pitch with a ridge stack at either end, both of which have been heightened in a different red brick. The rear elevation was not seen during the resurvey.
