Description
29 High Street is a two-storey building faced in stucco, likely over local rubble stone, and topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring red brick stacks. The central entrance plan includes two bowed shop windows on the ground floor, each with three lights and a transom, fluted pilasters, rendered stall-risers, and a cornice, with a door situated between the windows. On the upper floor, there are two sash windows with two over two panes, and between these windows is the painted date 1734. The building also has a moulded timber cornice and a parapet. The roof features a heightened red brick stack on the right gable and a rebuilt stack on the left, which may belong to the adjoining property. The rear elevation was not visible during the inspection. The ground floor currently serves as an open plan shop.
