Description
The Post Office is a building with three storeys, featuring a street elevation made of joint-lined stucco, likely over local rubble stone, and a Welsh slate roof with red brick stacks. The upper storey is probably an addition. The building has a double fronted central entrance plan with a door that includes a rectangular fanlight. To the left of the entrance is a wide 4 over 4 pane sash window. The right side has an altered late 19th century shop front, which includes a 4-light window with a panelled surround and a cornice. On the first floor, there are two 6 over 6 pane sash windows, with the centre window blocked and featuring a sunk panel. The upper floor has smaller 2 over 2 pane sashes. The roof has a low pitch with stacks at either gable. The rear elevation is also rendered, but only the upper wall was visible. The ground floor is entirely an open plan shop, and the interior was not otherwise observed.
