Description

No. 7 Slatey Road is a house built around 1850, constructed of brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and features a double-pile, two-bay plan. The central entrance is set in a pedimented gable that faces the street. The entrance includes a four-panelled door with an overlight, framed by a moulded architrave and flanked by 12-pane sash windows. On the upper floor, there are three additional 12-pane sash windows, each with flat arched stuccoed heads. The apex of the gable features two round arched sash windows. The return elevation has two canted bay windows separated by pilasters, with 12-pane sash windows above them. The house has axial and end wall stacks.
