Description
The Barrack Hill Canal Tunnel Portal is a canal tunnel entrance made of random rubble with a tooled flat coping. The parapet is angled to match the slope of the hill. It features a round arch entrance with part-tooled voussoirs and a keystone. The towpath is located on the east side, and the approach bank is reinforced with stone. Currently, the arch has a wire mesh blocking it, along with a sluice and grille in front, and there is a broken electrical installation at the side.
