Description

The Coach House Restaurant is a three-storey building that has been completely rendered and painted, likely over rubblestone, similar to the nearby stable block. It features a natural slate roof with a prominent red brick chimney. The building has a double depth plan and two windows facing the street. The ground floor has 8 over 8 pane sash windows, the first floor has 6 over 6 pane sashes, and the top floor has 3 over 6 pane sashes, all with stone cills. The roof is hipped and includes a large central chimney. The left side of the building is blind, while the yard-facing elevation has a modern small-paned bow window on the ground floor and a small window at the rear, with the rest being blind. The rear elevation has not been observed. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
