Description

11 Middle Street is a three-storey house dating from the 18th century. It is attached to numbers 12 on either side, sharing a common roofline and frontage. The house is rendered with a roughcast finish featuring scored patterns, and has a slate roof. The front elevation has a single range of six-pane sash windows with narrow glazing bars. A square-headed doorway is located on the ground floor to the left, featuring a wooden doorcase with fluted pilasters, a leaded hood, and a recessed studded door. The rear elevation, facing Hocker Hill Street, is similarly arranged with windows and a doorway which now serves as the main entrance.
