Description

Bowsher House is a large Georgian townhouse and shop, currently functioning as a shop on two storeys with a separate two-storey dwelling above, attached on one side. The walls are scored rendered, and it has a hipped roof made of Welsh slate. The building has four storeys and a cellar. It features a three-window range of horned sashes with cambered heads: 9-pane windows on the top floor, and 12-pane windows on the second and first floors, with platbands separating the floors. There are large 20th-century shop windows with a deep slate fascia.
