Description
Nos. 58-62 Victoria Street are stone houses that have modern roughcast cladding, which is now painted. They feature pilaster bands between the houses and a stuccoed plinth. The roofs are made of natural slate and have red brick stacks. The buildings have a double depth plan with entries on the left side. They are two storeys tall and consist of two bays each. The doorcases have moulded architraves, plain pilasters, and moulded cornices supported by console brackets. Each house has a 6-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed. The sash windows have 8 over 8 panes in slightly cambered heads below and 6 over 6 panes above, although all windows in No. 62 have been replaced with late 20th-century windows. There is a ledged door leading to a through passageway in No. 58. The roofs have a plain low pitch with a gable stack on the right side. The rear elevation and interior were not inspected during the resurvey.
