Description
A small ornamental bridge carrying one of the drives to the house over a small brook. Probably mid- to later-C19. Built of coursed rock-faced sandstone with freestone dressings. Gothic style. It consists of a semi-circular double-chamfered arch about 2m wide, with a moulded corbel over the apex, a slightly-arched chamfered string course, and parapets with 5 carved pierced quatrefoil panels either side of the centre, ridged copings and terminal piers with brattished tops.
