Description
Tree Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge that spans a stream. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and features coursed rock-faced sandstone abutments. Both sides of the bridge have a segment-headed opening, which is adorned with vertically-tooled chamfered-rusticated voussoirs and a keystone, all set beneath a flat arch ring. There is a plain band below the parapet that has chamfered copings, although the west parapet has been renewed. At the south end of the west face, there is a battered buttress, and the bridge also has short canted abutments.
