Description
No. 6 is a cottage built around 1840, constructed from dressed sandstone with a Welsh slate roof featuring stone gable copings and shaped kneelers. The end stacks have been rebuilt in brick. The cottage is two stories high and has three windows. It has a chamfered plinth and a slated hood with curved wooden braces above the central four-panel door and overlight. The windows are late 20th century casements set in the original openings, complete with painted sills. There is a single-storey rear extension, but it is not of special interest. This building is included for its group value.
