Description

This is a telephone call box located at the junction with Chapel Road. It is made of cast iron and glass, featuring a timber door. The call box has a domed roof with four lunettes that display Queen Elizabeth II crowns above red lettered opals and ventilation slits. The door and sides have raised surrounds with marginal glazing bars on the horizontal glazing. There is an embossed foundry plate that reads: "Carron Foundry...(Falkirk)".
