Description

Plas yr Haul is a semi-detached pair of houses, featuring creosoted horizontal boarding, likely over a timber frame. The houses have a deep cedar-shingle mansard roof with three ridge stacks made of pale brown brick; the center stack is square while the others are narrower. They are one and a half storeys tall, with a brown brick plinth and small-paned metal windows set in white-painted timber surrounds, giving a slightly neo-Georgian appearance.

The northern entrance front has openings only on the ground floor, consisting of two doors and two windows between them, with two additional windows on each side. There are outer porches at angles, with the mansard roof extending over them, which project slightly from both the front and gable end walls. All windows are paired 4-pane tilting lights, and the two front doors feature six small panes and a flat classical hood supported by brackets. The porches have blank fronts, with a small 4-pane light on the inside face and a door on the outside face. The gable end walls include an 8-8 pane window on the ground floor next to the porch and a similar window on the upper floor.

The garden front showcases two long flat dormers in the mansard roof, each containing four 6-pane lights. The ground floor features a sequence of windows and doors: a window, door, window, window, door, and window, with the windows being 8-8 pane casements and the doors glazed with small panes.
