Description
9 Maryport Street is a late Georgian tall terrace house. The building is rendered, scored, and painted with incised dressings, including quoins. It features a slate roof with a long and narrow brick end stack and stands three storeys high. The windows are all 12-pane sashes set in reveals, with narrow glazing bars, shallow moulded keystones, and incised surrounds. There are two windows on the top floor and one window each on the first and ground floors. To the left, there is a recessed doorway with a similar surround, which contains a 6-panelled door with a margin-glazed overlight. The house also has a nosed stone doorstep and a plinth.
