Description
No. 3 Maryport Street is part of a terrace of three late Georgian cottages, located on Maryport Street. The cottages are rendered, partially scored, and painted, with a slate roof featuring rendered cross ridge stacks. They are two storeys high and consist of three units, each with 12-pane horned sash windows set in reveals. The doorways have bracketed hoods above a continuous platband, with overlights and a plinth below. Number 3, on the left, is double fronted with a three-window range, featuring panelled reveals at the doorway and a four-panelled door. Numbers 5 and 7 each have a single window range, with number 7 still having a small-pane overlight. Numbers 3 and 5 also have low nosed stone doorsteps.
