Description

This is a garden wall, likely dating to various periods. It is constructed of rubble stone with a flat stone coping along the top. The wall’s masonry shows variations, and a course of square stones approximately two-thirds of the way up suggests different phases of construction, repair, and perhaps raising. A wide, painted, segmental-headed carriage arch is situated on the east side, leading to an ancillary building, and contains boarded double doors. The wall terminates with a tall, painted stucco doorway, featuring an architrave, a large keystone, and a heavy bracketed cornice, which is attached to the hotel building.
