Description
This building, located on Bridge Street, is an office structure designed in the Queen Anne revival style and dates from the late 19th or early 20th century. It is two storeys tall, featuring painted render and slate roofs. The windows are sash style with small panes in the upper sashes. The main block has a three-window width and is adorned with two pedimental gables that have dentil cornices, along with a deep dentil cornice at the eaves.
On the upper floor, the central window is flanked by large splayed oriel windows. A moulded string course runs between the storeys and rises above the doorway to connect with the upper window. The ground floor features a central doorway with a Gibbs surround, which has a semi-circular head and an overlight, along with panelled doors. There are pairs of sash windows on either side of the doorway, framed in architraves with keystones. To the right, there is an additional bay with a single window on the upper floor and a vehicle entry below. The forecourt of the main block is enclosed by iron railings.
