Description
Gordon House is a Georgian-fronted townhouse, attached on both sides, constructed of rendered stone rubble, which is visible on the left gable end. It features a steep-pitched slate roof with noticeably swept and overhanging eaves, along with brick corniced end stacks. The building has two storeys and a cellar. The façade includes a two-window range of tri-partite sashes set in deep reveals, with painted surrounds and small bracketed sills. The ground floor windows have architraves and low sills that align with the plinth level. At the center, there are paired doorways flanked by pilasters, topped with an entablature and a pediment; the door on the right is margin-glazed, while the left door is five-panelled.
Inside, the property is reported to retain an open fireplace, a stone arch, and heavy A-frame roof trusses with notched collars.
