Description
23 Nevill Street is a three-storey building with a rendered and painted front and a natural slate roof, designed in a double depth central entry plan. The façade features three windows, with a plain recessed doorway that has a late 20th century part-glazed replacement door. The flanking windows are 20th century tripartite sashes, consisting of 4 over 4 panes flanked by 2 over 2 panes. The first-floor windows are plain 6 over 6 pane sashes, while the second floor has three over 3 pane sashes. A moulded cornice runs along the top, which is deeper between the windows. The roof is plain and has a rebuilt brick stack on the left gable. The rear elevation has not been inspected. Although not inspected during the resurvey, the interior has undergone significant reconstruction in the late 20th century.
