39 Garden Suburbs

39 Garden Suburbs is part of a longer terrace of six houses, built in the 20th century. The houses are pebbledashed with hipped tiled roofs and have swept eaves, featuring three brick ridge stacks. They are two storeys high and have a symmetrical design. The central cottages, Nos 31 and 33, and Nos 35 and 37, each have pairs of half-height gables. The first floor has a single range of three-light cambered-arched leaded casements with brick sills, while the ground floor has similar square-headed windows. All the glazing has been renewed. The houses feature paired gabled entrance porches, with a single pitch porch for No 31. At the ends, Nos 39 and 29 have similar two-light windows on the first floor and four-light windows on the ground floor, most of which have also been renewed. The end porch at No 29 retains its swept eaves and tile kneelers.
