Description
37 Garden Suburbs is part of a longer terrace consisting of six houses, built in the 20th century. The houses are finished with pebbledash and feature a hipped tiled roof with swept eaves, along with three brick ridge stacks. They are two storeys tall and have a symmetrical design. The central cottages, Nos 31 and 33, and Nos 35 and 37, each have pairs of half-height gables. The first floor has a single range of three-light cambered-arched leaded casement windows with brick sills, while the ground floor features similar square-headed windows. All the glazing has been renewed. The houses have paired gabled entrance porches, with a single pitch porch for No 31. At the ends, Nos 39 and 29 have similar two-light windows on the first floor and four-light windows on the ground floor, most of which have also been renewed. The end porch for No 29 retains its swept eaves and tile kneelers.
