31 Garden Suburbs

31 Garden Suburbs is part of a longer terrace of six houses, built in the early 20th century. The building is pebbledashed with a hipped tiled roof and swept eaves, featuring three brick ridge stacks. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical design. The central cottages, Nos 31 and 33, and Nos 35 and 37, each have pairs of half-height gables. The first floor has a single range of three-light cambered-arched leaded casements with brick sills, while the ground floor has similar square-headed windows. All the glazing has been renewed. There are paired gabled entrance porches, with a single pitch on No 31. At the ends, Nos 39 and 29 have similar two-light windows on the first floor and four-light windows on the ground floor, most of which have also been renewed. The end porch of No 29 retains its swept eaves and tile kneelers.
