Description

This is a terrace of four houses, numbered 21 to 27, located on Garden Suburbs. They were built with a pebbledashed exterior, a hipped tiled roof with swept eaves, and two brick ridge stacks. The houses are two storeys high and designed symmetrically. The ends, at numbers 21 and 27, feature half-height gables. The original windows were camber-arched leaded casements with brick sills on the upper floor, and square-headed windows on the ground floor. Number 21 has a doorway with a bracketed hood, and number 27 has a porch. The centre houses, numbers 23 and 25, have paired hipped gables and originally featured square-headed four-light windows on the first floor and canted bays under a shared hood that extended over the paired doorways. Most of the glazing and doors have been replaced.
