Description
21-27 Garden Suburbs is a terrace of four houses built in the early 20th century. The houses are pebbledashed with hipped tiled roofs and swept eaves, featuring two brick ridge stacks. They are two storeys tall and have a symmetrical design. The end houses, Nos 21 and 27, have half-height gables and originally featured a range of four cambered-arched leaded casement lights with brick sills on the first floor, while the ground floor had similar square-headed windows. The doorway to No 21 has a bracketed hood, and No 27 has a porch. The central houses, Nos 23 and 25, have paired hipped gables and originally had similar square-headed four-light windows on the first floor, along with canted bays under a shared hood that extends over paired doorways. Most of the glazing and doors have been renewed.
