Description
Nos 2 and 4 Garden Suburbs are a pair of 2-storey cottages built in a reflected design, each featuring two windows. The front is finished in pebbledash, and the cottages have tiled roofs with overhanging swept eaves. The chimney stacks, also pebbledashed, have red brick caps at the center and above No 2, while the stack above No 4 has been cut down. The cottages have leaded casement glazing with brick sills and a band above the ground floor windows. The first floor has 4-light windows located centrally, which are sheltered by broad hipped hoods that rise nearly to the main ridge level. Each cottage has a central doorway with a half-glazed door, situated under tiled hoods that extend over the flanking splayed bays, which contain 3-light windows on the outer ground floor. There has been a rebuilt hood and renewed glazing to the bay window.
