Description

Dated 1806; late 19th century bipartite windows; 20th century additions to rear. Pair of single storey, 3-bay cottages with central doors, flanking bipartite windows and gabled roofs. Random rubble with ashlar dressings; No. 2 whitewashed; No. 4 harled and painted. Base course, eaves course and quoin strips to No. 4; raised ashlar window and door margins to both cottages. Slightly recessed half-glazed timber boarded doors to both cottages.

REAR ELEVATION: early 20th century piend-roofed out-shot to centre; gabled section to right-hand bay of No. 4. Flat-roofed dormer to No. 4; Veluxes to No. 2.

Sash and case windows to No. 2 with 2-pane glazed upper sashes and plate glass to lower sashes; Non-traditional aluminium framed windows to No. 4. Ashlar-coped skews. Rendered stacks with assorted clay cans. Graded grey slate.
