Description
Nos 2 and 4 Garden Suburbs are a pair of two-storey cottages built as a reflected pair, each featuring two windows. The front is pebbledashed, and the cottages have tiled roofs with overhanging swept eaves. There are pebbledashed chimney stacks with red brick caps at the center and on No 2, while the chimney on No 4 has been cut down. The cottages have leaded casement glazing with brick sills and a band above the ground floor windows. The first floor has four-light windows in the center, which are covered by broad hipped hoods that rise nearly to the main ridge level. Each cottage has a central doorway with a half-glazed door, which is sheltered by tiled hoods that extend over the flanking splayed bays, and there are three-light outer ground floor windows.
