Description
The building is a former dairy and laundry located to the north of Ruperra Castle. It is designed in a U-plan and consists of a two-storey range with roughcast elevations, topped by a hipped slate roof featuring stone chimney stacks and a central bellcote. The front facade has five bays, with a central round-arched entrance that has a stone surround. The outer bays are slightly advanced, and the ground-floor windows in these bays are set within round-headed recesses. There are also two and three-light cross-frame, camber-headed windows that were added in the early 20th century, which are contemporary with the stables and coach-house courtyard. The building has a stone plinth and a modern door. The rear has undergone alterations, including an irregular pattern of windows and the glazed infill of the former carriage entry. Some modernization has occurred due to the conversion of the building into two dwellings.
