Description
The building is a former dairy located to the north of Milton of Edinglassie farm, likely dating from the early 20th century. It is a single-storey structure with a piend roof and features a raised rectangular-plan louvered air vent. The exterior is harled with ashlar margins and quoin strips, and it has round-headed doorways.
The south elevation is symmetrical, showcasing two boarded timber doors with decorative astragals in the fanlights above. There is one window on both the east and west elevations. The windows have a 15-pane glazing pattern in the top-hopper style. The roof is covered with grey slates and has coped ashlar stacks. The eaves are deeply overhanging, revealing exposed rafters and plain bargeboarding, and there are cast iron rainwater goods.
Inside, the dairy retains stone shelving with drainage channels beneath.
