Description
The entrance gateway at the churchyard of St Mary Risca features two tall gatepiers made of regular tooled ashlar blocks. The angles of the gatepiers are chamfered, and the top course is shaped into an octagon, supporting a shallow octagonal capstone. The gateway is adorned with wide and tall double iron gates that have spear finials and Gothic arches, which reflect the architectural style of the church.
