Description
This is a hump-backed bridge made of rubble sandstone, located over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal to the west of Penrhiw. It features a single elliptical arch constructed with dressed stone voussoirs and has a low parapet with flat coping. The abutments are splayed outwards and end in square piers. A former tow path used to pass under the bridge on the west side. The deck is covered in tarmac, and there are cast iron weight restriction notices nearby. The bridge has been altered at the southwest.
