Description
This is an asymmetrical hump-backed bridge made of rubble sandstone, built over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal near Moriah Hill. The bridge features a single elliptical arch constructed with dressed stone voussoirs and has a low parapet with flat coping. The abutments are splayed outwards and end in square piers. A former towpath ran under the bridge on the south side, where there is a kerb. There are cast iron weight restriction notices nearby. A wall extends to the northeast, forming the boundary wall of a burial ground. Some alterations have occurred on the towpath side, including the loss of coping stones.
