Description
This is a small cast iron milepost located east of Lower Wyndham Terrace. The oval shape of the milepost displays the number '5 ¾', indicating the distance west of the beginning of the canal in Newport. Below this, there is a small plaque on the post that reads 'M C Co.', referring to the Monmouthshire Canal Company.
