Description

This is a milepost located on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. It is made of black painted cast iron and stands approximately 45 centimeters high. The milepost features a large circle in the center with raised white lettering above and below it. At ground level, there is a rectangle with additional raised white lettering. The inscriptions read from the top: "FROM POTTER STREET LOCK 7 MILES M.C.Co."
