Description
14 Upper Colliers Row is one of a row of mostly altered two-storey stone cottages that feature slate roofs. Some original stone chimneys still exist, and a few window openings may remain in their original size. The cottages typically have catslide roofs at the rear, many of which have been extended. Several cottages have been joined together, and there are gardens in front, with some remaining stone walls. To the south, there is an area of irregular enclosures or allotments associated with the cottage row.
No 14 has painted roughcast cladding and shares a stone stack on the right end with No 15. It features a late 20th-century porch on the left with an arched entry, and there is a window on each floor to the right, which are aligned.
The interior has not been inspected, but it is reported to have joisted floors, a fireplace on the right, and a winding stone staircase nearby.
