Description
10 Upper Colliers Row is one of a row of mostly altered two-storey stone cottages featuring slate roofs. Some stone chimneys still exist, and a few original window openings may remain unchanged in size. Catslide roofs are generally visible at the rear, with many having been extended. Several cottages have been joined together, and there are gardens in front with some remaining stone walls. To the south is an area of irregular enclosures or allotments associated with the cottage row.
No 10 has been altered to match No 9, featuring 20th-century render and wide late 20th-century windows on each floor to the left, along with a late 20th-century porch to the right. It shares a stone stack with No 11.
The interior is not available for inspection, but it is said to have joisted floors, a fireplace to the right, and a winding stone staircase adjacent.
