Description

Pont y Cefn is a road bridge made of ferro-concrete, featuring a single open arch. It has vertical piers in the spandrels between the arch and the carriageway. The balustrades and rails seem to have been modified or replaced. The bridge is built at a significant angle over the Afon Taff Fechan, with a carriageway that is 5.4 meters wide, parapets that are approximately 1.3 meters high, and a footpath that is 2.1 meters wide on the north side only. The carriageway extends beyond the main structure on the east side, likely to accommodate a path or track.
