Description

This is a cast iron milepost located outside No. 7 Hanky Terrace on Plymouth Street. The milepost is painted white with black lettering. The backplate has a pedimented design and displays the distance to London as "183". The left side indicates "CARDIFF / 23", while the right side shows "MERTHYR / 1". It features a chamfered triangular shape, a splayed base, and a slight plinth.
