Description
This is a cast iron milepost located outside No. 243 Albany Road. It has a triangular shape facing Albany Road and is painted white with black lettering. The milepost features a slight plinth and beaded edging, with a chamfered top. The front displays 'CAERPHILLY 7 ¹', the left side reads 'NEWPORT ROAD ¼ MILE', and the right side shows 'MERTHYR ROAD 2 MILES'.
