Garage at Ynysmaerdy Farm (formerly part of Llantrisant Colliery)

The garage at Ynysmaerdy Farm, which was formerly part of Llantrisant Colliery, is a single-storey gabled building that likely served as assembly shops. Constructed from rendered rubble sandstone with red brick dressings, it features a slate roof. The building measures 4 bays in length and 2 bays in width. On the eastern elevation, there are four tall segmental-headed windows with small-paned metal frames, each consisting of 6 panes by 8. The western elevation is open-fronted, supported by concrete posts and lintels, allowing for the entry of large objects. The northern gable end has two small metal-framed windows, each with 4 panes by 5, while the southern gable end includes another window and a raised doorway.
