Description
Town Farmhouse and garage to the west is a house and outbuilding from the 18th century that was enlarged and remodeled in the early 19th century. The house is constructed of squared stone and has a Welsh slate roof, while the garage is made of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The south elevation features two storeys with three plus one bays, which are slightly irregular. There is a 20th-century glazed door in a chamfered alternating-block surround in the second bay. The windows are 16-pane sash types with tooled lintels and slightly projecting sills. The gables are coped, and there are stepped-and-banded stacks at the ends and along the ridge. To the left of the house is a single-storey outbuilding with raised reverse-step coping on the left gable. The rear outshut has been altered in the 20th century and is not of interest.
