Description
122 Bute Street is a pair of three houses, each two storeys over a basement, featuring two window bays. They are finished in painted stucco with slate roofs and classic-style stucco chimneys. A deep dentil cornice runs along the top. The first-floor sash windows are adorned with architraves and cornices, and there is a band course at the sill level.
On the ground floor, No 122 has a doorway with a bracketed cornice and to the left, a modern bay window. No 123 features a similar doorway and a wide tripartite window beneath a bracketed cornice. No 124 also has a similar doorway and a semi-hexagonal bay supported by Doric pillars with heavy brackets under the sills. Nos 122 and 124 still have iron railings around their basement areas. All houses have six-panelled doors with rectangular overlights, with the doors of Nos 122 and 123 retaining their original glazing.
