Description

This is a cylindrical cast iron pillar box of standard design, located outside the Royal Bank of Scotland. It features a fluted rim and a shallow domed cap. The door is marked with the monogram "E II R". This particular pillar box was manufactured by Carron Company in Stirlingshire.
