Description

33 West Bute Street is a three-storey building of stucco construction, dating from the 18th century. It has two window bays. A projecting cornice runs along the top of the building. The second-floor windows are small-pane hornless sashes, with 3 panes over 6. The first-floor windows are larger-pane sashes with horns, and have architraves with cornices above them. A blocking course runs horizontally at window sill level. On the ground floor, a deeply set entrance doorway is located to the left, and a wide office window with a tripartite frame is on the right. Both the door and window are sheltered by a continuous bracketed cornice.
