Description

122, 123, and 124 Bute Street comprise three houses, each of two storeys over a basement, with two window bays. The houses are built of painted stucco, with slate roofs and classicizing stucco chimneys. They feature a deep dentil cornice. The first-floor windows are sash windows with architraves and cornices, and a band course runs at sill level.

Number 122 has a doorway with a bracketed cornice and a modern bay window to the left. Number 123 has a similar doorway and a tripartite wide window beneath a bracketed cornice. Number 124 also has a similar doorway and a semi-hexagonal bay with Doric pillars and heavy brackets under the sills.

Iron railings remain in place around the basement areas of numbers 122 and 124, along with panelled doors and rectangular overlights.
